Joy is a substantial, social, and well-rounded Dutch Shepherd female imported from Montferland Kennels in the Netherlands. A daughter of Ivo III PH1 (H.R. Iedema), she carries a powerhouse pedigree with influential dogs like Berry II (Lamers), Boy (Backhaus), Rudy (Jansen), Django (van der Doelen), Biko (Jansen), and Wibo (van Leeuwen) behind her.

Weighing in at 75–80 lbs with strong bone and excellent structure, Joy is known for her rock-solid temperament, stable nerves, and unshakable confidence. She's incredibly social with people and other animals, earning her the affectionate nickname “the dumb blonde of the family”—always happy, always friendly, and always along for the ride.

While her formal training has been minimal, Joy has intense prey drive, a natural desire to hunt and bite, and will enthusiastically chase a ball all day long. Her greatest job, however, has been as a producer—and she excels. She’s been bred to Tommy (Pegge) multiple times as well as Otto (Wilts), consistently producing offspring now competing in KNPV, French Ring, PSA, and working homes.
